Paul Jenkins is inspired by his love of nature and his ability to sculpture from direct observation of wild animals in their natural habitats. Paul Jenkins began his career sculpting wood, clay and wax before studying ceramics and bronze sculpture. He then started sculpting hares and this is where he has enjoyed most success.

The hare has just come to a sudden stop half way across the field. What has disturbed him! The largest in our new series it measures an impressive 50 x 45 cm. It is crafted with such great detail in the renowned cold cast bronze.
